In that graph the blue line shows how another 30wtrq was gained around 5000rpms, at this point the intake air temp was about 20 degrees higher than when I started (112 vs 92) so there’s a drop of about 15whp on the top end, but I’ll see how much of that I get back tomorrow getting everything else adjusted in.Īlso learned that with the VR6 crank position sensor you want between 10k and 14k of resistance toning down the voltage so it doesn’t cut out at high rpms, I’m using a 10k ohm resistor currently so with a jump to 14k I’m expecting to get full rpms :) And the second picture shows when I pulled even more VVT, a little too much over 6000rpms but that will get fixed tomorrow. First drive today I adjusted fueling and turned down the VVT to be less above 5000rpms and what a difference it made! 30hp gain at 6000rpms from 240whp to 270whp.
